Are there Dance Church classes in my city?

• Head here and use the filter to see the list of cities where Dance Church classes are offered. We are expanding and will be coming to new cities over time. To request a city, email info@dancechurch.com.
• At this time we only offer regular Dance Church classes in the United States, and occasional pop-ups in other countries, but hope to expand internationally soon!

How do I sign up for In-Person classes?

• Head here to find the schedule of classes, see when registration opens, and purchase tickets for yourself and up to one guest. You can filter to find classes in your city.

Which Dance Church studio locations are ADA Accessible?

• Many of our studio spaces are ADA accessible, while some have limited accessibility or may require advance notice so we can best support access to class. Please check the full accessibility list for details about each location here.

What should I wear to class?

• Come to class in clothes you feel comfortable moving and sweating in! Whatever makes you feel safe and comfy is the right choice for you.
• We just ask:
  • Barefoot dancing is our fave (no socks, no shoes)
  • If you are more comfortable dancing in shoes for any reason, please bring clean, indoor-only gym shoes. Our dance floors are multi-use: please keep each other safe by keeping outside stuff off the floor.
  • For equity and comfort for all, please keep shirts on at class! No bare chests.
  • Please avoid the use of body oils, strong perfumes and lotions during class.
  • Please wear clothing that has not been washed in fabric softeners.

When do tickets go on sale?

• Registration opens 1 month before each class.

Class is sold out, is there a waitlist?

• All of our classes have capacity limits. We appreciate your patience as we are working to offer more classes in each city. Check back in case someone cancels, try again next week, or take classes online at dancechurch.com in the meantime!

I had technical difficulties and was not able to register for an IRL class

• Oh no! Send us an email at info@dancechurch.com with the issue you experienced and we will get to fixing it.

Can I arrive late to class?

• It is important to the safety of the experience and everyone in the class that registered attendees arrive before class begins. Check-in begins 15 minutes before your scheduled class time and we recommend arriving at least 5 minutes prior to the start of class to ensure a smooth check-in. After class has started, Dance Church will deny entry to new entrants.

Is there an age-restriction for classes?

• Participants must be 13 years or older. That said, we believe that every body — youth to elder — deserves a safe place to dance. And, every body (young to old) has different levels of comfort around stimulus such as:
  • loud noises - we love our dance floor booming!
  • crowded spaces - classes get packed, and sometimes navigating space can be tricky
  • un-censored language in music lyrics - you'll hear un-beeped music in most of our classes
  • free movement of the hips, chest, and more - we shake, we drop, we swirl, we get gritty

We encourage all our class takers to assess their own level of comfort around these aspects of class. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Do you offer discounted pricing?

• We want every body to be able to experience Dance Church! If you or anyone you know are facing any financial hurdles to joining our classes please check out our two special offerings for our Dance Church community!

Can I register for a friend?

• Yes! During the registration process, select "Someone Else" when asked "Who will be attending?" and follow the remaining steps. (see support article here)
• Single Class Tickets & 10 Class Packs can be used to register for a friend. (Subscriptions cannot be used to register others)

What are my options for gifting?

• Gift Cards that range from $25 - $200 can be purchased here.
• Single Class Tickets & 10 Class Packs can also be gifted. (subscriptions cannot be gifted)
• Make sure that "Add Gift Options" is selected during checkout. (see support article here)

How do I upgrade my membership?

• To upgrade your membership, you will first need to cancel your current membership so you don't get charged on your next billing date. Here is a support article on how to do that. Next, go to our pricing page here and select the membership you wish to purchase.

How do I access the On-Demand library?

• To access our On-Demand library of Dance Church classes, workouts, and extras, you must become an On Demand Member at $19/month or hold a 4, 8, or Unlimited Membership.

When are your live streamed classes?

• We are no longer offering live streamed classes. Become an On Demand Member and take class online at any time!

What is your cancellation policy?

• In person registrations must be canceled 12 hours prior to your class start time. A $5 late cancellation fee will apply to those who cancel within 12 hours of your class. Your pass/credit will be returned to your account for future use upon canceling unless the pass/credit has expired.
• Unlimited Members are exempt from the cancellation policy and may cancel at any time. Unlimited Members who do not cancel and do not attend class may be charged a $5 no show fee.

What is your refund policy?

• All sales are final and non-refundable. If you are a member - you must cancel your membership before your next billing cycle to avoid being charged. When canceled - your membership will stay active until the end of your current term.

Where can I find playlists from IRL classes?

• Go to the teacher’s page and tap the Spotify icon to find their playlist. You can find the teacher’s page from the class event or here.
