ABOUT Ale

Ale Preciado is a dancer, educator, performer, self proclaimed fashionista, and celebrity culture aficionado. Ale has been dancing her entire life, and began her professional career freelancing in San Francisco, until relocating to Portland, Oregon to dance with Northwest Dance Project. After four seasons there, she has returned to the Bay Area to pursue freelance art making and educating. Ale truly believes that dance is for everyone and has a passion for sharing the joy and love of movement! Come to her class to find an environment that will push you with warmth and lots of energy!!

When Dancing

When dancing, Ale connects with herself and others around her. Dancing gives Ale the depth, euphoria, and catharsis that she needs in life while providing her with the community and friendships that mean everything to her. Ale truly believes that dance would not be in her life without the community it has provided for her. To show her gratitude for that, she is always striving to lift the community up!

When Not Dancing

When not dancing, Ale can be found rummaging through a thrift store with a coffee in hand or sitting on the couch with all her art supplies working on her junk journal. However, Ale's favorite thing will always be going out with friends for a night of dancing and finding a cozy corner to chat and beat a dead horse.
