Ching is a Manila-born, LA raised, PDX based Chinese-Filipino Dancer, Choreographer, Stager, and Teacher. Named ‘25 to watch’ by Dance Magazine and working all over the world, she is obsessed with stories; the remarkable, the mundane, and the funny. She is stoked to share space with each and every one of YOU!
When Dancing
Ching is home and alive, unleashed and searching for possibilities. Taking all her history and the people she loves with her into every dancing space, she aims to be present in gratitude, and with each body roll and booty bump planting seeds for a future connected by community.
When Not Dancing
Ching is pretty much a grandma; wearing her pearl-beaded glasses (negative 14 prescription!), knitting in a park, sewing herself outfits, picking perfectly ripe avocados, finding the shoes of her dreams at a random yard sale, sobbing to sad movies on airplanes, and falling asleep mid-sennn….
