ABOUT Jordan

Jordan Isadore is a Portland-based dance artist and choreographer originally from Northern California. After over a decade performing and making work in NYC—including a long run with Shen Wei Dance Arts—he packed up, headed west, and found a new groove in the PNW. His performance work blends theatricality, humor, sweat, and a deep love of pop culture. Jordan’s been teaching movement in all kinds of rooms for years, and he’s passionate about creating spaces that feel electric, welcoming, and alive.

When Dancing

Jordan turns the volume up—on rhythm, emotion, and presence. He rides the line between grounded and wild, precise and messy. Dance is where he feels most like himself and most connected to others. He’ll probably make you laugh—and definitely make you sweat.

When Not Dancing

Jordan’s thrifting, refinishing vintage furniture, or gardening with matcha in hand. He’s into playlist curation, lighting vibes, and anything with a good before-and-after. He loves casual hangs, river dips, and finding a little magic in the everyday.
