ABOUT Vickie
Vickie is a movement artist, dance educator and boba fanatic based in LA. She received her BFA in Dance Performance from Chapman University and professionally seeks out opportunities that feed and fuel her addiction to the buzz of live performance. Some recurring themes in her work include the extremities of emotion, the sensuality of the human body and her experience of being a multicultural artist and daughter of immigrants. Dance has been a consistent vehicle for her self-discovery, catharsis and joy. In classes, she hopes to guide others towards this same revelation - whether it's a familiar sensation or a new discovery altogether.
When Dancing
Vickie wears her exploding heart on her sleeve and is spilling her feelings via twirl. She is a proud company member of Entity Contemporary Dance and has commercial credits that include SONOS, Apple Inc., OneRepublic, Oculus x Billie Eilish, Ben Platt, Ashe & Club Babalu, LA's immersive burlesque show.
When Not Dancing
She is mom to 2 calico kitty siblings, Bandit & Strawberry, chasing sunsets and ordering calamari for the table.
